GOBLINS TREASURE
TOOL KIT
OBJECTIVE
This practical assignment consisted of creating a 2D image of a level map for a single-player exploration/adventure game in first person. For the second part of this practical assignment, i was given the task of using the tools I had been learning about to create a grey box version of the level i designed in the previous practical assignment. The level should be playable with at least one puzzle element in it that requires visual scripting. Building on the first and second assignments, i had to finish the level. I placed all final art, lighting, sounds and music. I was tasked to place at least one imported asset with its own texture and an imported sound.

FINAL VISION
GAME LEVEL
The level began as a grey block-out in Unreal Engine, where I focused on establishing the layout, gameplay flow, and player navigation. As I moved into the final design, I kept the original structure but upgraded the environment with detailed textures, lighting, and props to match the intended visual style. I aimed to preserve the look and feel of the block-out while making it immersive and visually polished. The main goal of the level is for the player to explore the space, find a hidden key, and unlock a secret door to claim the goblin’s treasure, encouraging exploration and rewarding curiosity.
